What we think of Hopscotch's new Update

Version 0.14.0

We think that the “Accounts” idea is great! There are some issues, though. The largest one, I think, is that you had to create a new account, losing your old one: your name, your games don't result as yours anymore, and you also lose the drafts of the awesome projects or games you were working on. Another one is that many people don't trust giving their e-mail account to any app, maybe even less to Hopscotch (with no offense). This update also has some great features: now you can use the same account on several different devices! It is very useful, I can assure you myself: when I lost my iPad, that I found again a few days later, I used my friend's iPad to continue to work on my game. So, after all, it's pretty useful!

Version 0.15.0

Even though it isn't the most important update of all, some people are very happy that they can now both change their avatar and their name with another one. The only issue is that people might not be able to find coders they like after they completely changed their names. Apart from that, it may be useful if you've misspelled your name when you created your account.

Version 0.16.0

Ever since the beginning of Hopscotch, some people have used some strange but useful black shapes which can't be found in the emoji tab. Therefore, others have often created games, which after all were messages, asking others how to get them. Not only was this making Hopscotch become like a chat, but others were also more advantaged than others in competitions. We thank Hopscotch so much for having now putten those shapes in the “+” tab, because now, if we want to use one of them, we don't have to search (just like I was doing the other day) projects which included it somewhere (for example completey black loading screens). Also, with this update, if we want to make a text change to a different colour, we don't have to go and find that rule, copy and paste the text into the new rule, and then select the new color: ww can just tap “Set Color” and select the new color.
